industrial and distribution Our roots are in industrial building, acquiring sites and designing buildings for manufacturers in the Lea Valley area of north east London. By WW2 we had become a leading practice in industrial design, involved in projects throughout the UK. The practice was involved in major post-war projects to modernise British manufacturing industry, using innovative construction techniques. Projects included development in the late 1960s of a standard factory for Lucas CAV, design of one of the country's first high-bay warehouses for Dexion in 1970 and designing manufacturing and distribution facilities for companies in various industry sectors. As well as manufacturing plants, projects include headquarters offices, research buildings, medical and social facilities.
